-As Ikorodu -based Sol-Nuyi Adesoca emerges guber candidate

The African Action Congress (AAC) have successfully conducted its primary elections in Lagos State, with candidates emerging through consensus.
The primary elections, held last Saturday in Lagos, was witnessed by representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
According to the party’s state organizing secretary, Comrade Micheal Olasoji, AAC had its screening for the aspirants vying for the gubernatorial, senatorial, House of Representatives and House of Assembly on May 16th and 24th, 2026.

Mr Sol-Nuyi Oluwadamola Adesoca from Ikorodu Local Government Area, emerged as the party’s governorship candidate.
He emerged as the gubernatorial candidate after delegates at the primary election endorsed his candidacy.
For the Senatorial seat of Lagos East Senatorial District, Emmanuel Oluwanuyi (a.k.a Skimmer), emerged as the party’s flagbearer for the 2027 General Elections.
Moreso, while Comrade Akolade Afeez will be the party’s candidate for the Assembly seat of the Ikorodu Constituency I, Comrade Tola Awoyemi emerged as the flagbearer in Ikorodu Constituency II.

According to the state organizing secretary of the party, the aspirant for the Ikorodu Federal House of Representative is awaiting final clearance.
In a phone chat with the AAC Gubernatorial candidate, Mr Sol-Nuyi Oluwadamola Adesoca, after the primary, he said that his emergence is the beginning of freedom for Lagos.
“I feel elated, and good. This is the beginning of a free Lagos for Lagossians.
“Lagosians should be expecting freedom of expression, good governance, universal free and compulsory education from basic to university level with world class amenities”,Mr Adesoca assured.

The governorship candidate furthered his agenda for Lagosians, stating that:
“They should expect housing policy that conforms with global standards and a benefitting value for life; a perfect healthcare system that works for the people of Lagos and care for all our elders i. e., senior citizens of Lagos.
”Good and nutritious food not only for the growing -ups, but for all Lagosians as well by establishing world class food banks and constructing food processing industrial foundation.

”They should also expect a well planned and articulated world class transportation system covering the entire Lagos metropolis and the sub- urbans.
”My administration will also provide both high skilled and technical skilled jobs for Lagosians, ” the AAC governorship candidate said.
